Shipping
Thegardener.com will process your order within 48 hours given all items are in stock. Occasionally items may be sold out. Any backordered items will ship as we receive them at the warehouse, therefore if several of your items are backordered they may ship separately. We will contact you promptly with any backorder information in the event order changes are needed. You may cancel backordered items that have not yet shipped at any time.

Thegardener.com ships Monday through Friday from Berkeley, CA via UPS. Your shipping options and cost will be presented at the time of checkout. Shipping rates are automatically calculated based on weight, size and destination. We cannot ship to post office boxes. Upon shipping, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Once the merchandise is in the hands of the carrier, the risk of loss and title passes to you. You may track your order via the UPS website.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. All credit card transactions are secure. Thegardener.com uses Secure Socket Layering (SSL), which provides encryption and authenticates server identity.

All credit cards are subject to an authorization process hold at the time of purchase. Funds are collected separately, usually within 24 hours of placing the order. In the event of a backorder, funds will be collected in full when we receive a new shipment and are prepared to ship to you.

Returns & Exchanges
Merchandise purchased at thegardener.com may be returned within 30 days of purchase for store credit or exchange only if in original condition, wrapped in original packaging, receipt included and insured for the full amount. All shipping costs are non-refundable unless the product is deemed defective or damaged. Please ensure that the items are packed securely so as not to be damaged in shipment. Thegardener.com credits will be issued in the form of a gift card, which will be shipped to you upon receipt of returned merchandise. Thegardener.com gift card can be redeemed at all of our store locations and at our website.

Cancellations
You may cancel your order within 24 hours after your original order was placed. If you need to cancel your order, email webstore at thegardener.com or call 1 888 509 8484. Please make sure to provide us with as much detailed information as possible so we can track your order; name, order number, etc. We will send you a confirmation email to let you know your order was cancelled.
